Hello, everyone.
The team at Harmony Recovery has certainly been busy in recent months. Since the beginning of the year, we have experienced a large degree of sustained volume growth on campus. It is great seeing this progress and knowing that Harmony is helping so many individuals find their paths to recovery.
A year ago, seeing more than 30 patients per day in any given month was reason for celebration as we worked to sustain a higher volume than we had been. However, having numbers in the upper 20’s was not an uncommon occurrence. We worked to change this by adjusting our staffing structure, offering free transportation to and from campus, building partnerships with hospital systems, updating our programming, and contracting with Medicaid for a percentage of our beds. These objectives, and so much work that occurred in the spaces in between, has allowed us to realize a healthier degree of functioning as an organization.
In January 2025, we had 27 patients per day on campus. Over the months, we have seen this number consistently build. We worked together to understand how to reach higher patient volumes via regular check-ins and planning across departments. The total process we have been focused on has led to fantastic results. In July 2025, we had 46 patients per day on campus.
A couple things that are interesting to note in order to put this data into perspective. Each and every month from February 2025 to current has set volume records at Harmony for the last 5-year period. The last two quarters have been the highest average volume quarters compared to those same quarters over the last 5-year period.
The staff at Harmony Recovery have done an incredible job facing the challenges we had in front of us and embracing the plan we had to get the organization where it needed to be. Of course, the work is not done. It never will be. That is our ongoing challenge as leaders and care providers. However, I want to take this moment to celebrate with the staff and share these accomplishments with all of you.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Harmony truly is a special place with a special group of professionals dedicated to our mission. We will continue doing what needs to be done in order to provide the best care to those seeking healthier lives free from addiction.
Sincerely,
Shane Hudson
