Where Recovery Continues: Virtual IOP Supported by Jill Popp and Harmony’s Care Team

Recovery does not end when a client leaves residential care. It continues to evolve with the right support, connection, and guidance. At Harmony Recovery, our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program offers a meaningful next step, helping clients stay engaged in their recovery while transitioning back into everyday life. Supported by a dedicated clinical team, including counselor Jill Popp, this program blends connection, flexibility, and whole-person care.

Jill Popp: Experience and Whole-Person Care

Jill Popp is a valued member of Harmony’s clinical team, now leading Virtual IOP Evening programming. She first partnered with Harmony in January 2024 through CAIR recovery art workshops and now brings over 12 years of experience across all levels of care.

Jill is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Addictions Counselor, and Registered Art Therapist, with additional certifications in acudetox, Brainspotting, and yoga. Her work integrates CBT and DBT with trauma-informed and holistic approaches, including art therapy and somatic techniques.

“Healing happens when we address the whole person and help clients reconnect with their own resilience,” Jill said of her approach to working with clients. This philosophy guides her how she helps clients navigating trauma, addiction, chronic illness, grief, anxiety, and sleep challenges.

In both group and individual settings, Jill supports clients in building insight, developing coping strategies, and creating meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.

A Seamless Step Forward

Harmony Recovery has a strong legacy of compassionate care and lasting success. Our Virtual IOP builds on that foundation by allowing clients to continue their recovery journey without losing the connections they formed during residential treatment.

Because the program is virtual, clients can return home to communities across Colorado while still attending groups with familiar peers. These ongoing relationships provide stability, encouragement, and accountability during a critical stage of recovery. “What makes this program special is that clients do not have to lose the connections they built in residential care,” says Jill, “They get to continue growing alongside the same peers, even as they return home.”

This continuity allows clients to stay engaged in treatment while integrating recovery into their everyday lives. “That balance is where meaningful, lasting change happens,” says Jill.

Connection That Extends Beyond Care

IOP clients gain access to the HUB app, where they can stay connected with alumni across the country and even find support in their local communities. As Jill shares, “the HUB creates a sense of belonging that extends far beyond our sessions.”

Combined with access to IOP resources for continued self-study, this added layer of connection helps clients stay supported as they move forward in recovery. To learn more about how Harmony’s Virtual IOP supports this next step, visit https://www.harmonyrecovery.org/iop/.
